The current opportunity that sits within the QLD team:
  • Recruitment Consultant - Software – salary between $70-85K + Super + commission
  • This is a full time/permanent position

You may have experience working for a corporate and not enjoying your current desk (*accountancy, support, legal, other) and have perhaps identified that the digital world is where you want to be. I would be more than open to discussing what the word of Software/Digital/Creative recruitment looks like. It’s by far one of the most buoyant spaces across the Australian market right now, and in my experience, one of the most enjoyable!

As I’ve eluded to, there is no ideal background for these roles, more so individuals that possess the right temperament and attitude; prior exposure to the recruitment industry is a definite plus however.
  • It might be that you're operating as a Candidate Manager with the desire to step up, or already operating as a 360-degree Consultant. I would strongly advise you reach out to initiate an exploratory conversation. Transparency is something that’s valued with us, and I’d be completely open if this doesn’t seem like the right fit for you.

We/I would personally take the time to invest in you and ensure you’re up to speed within a reasonable timeframe. About the role

An opportunity awaits for a self-motivated, and enthusiastic Human Resources officer to join our friendly, fun and professional People Team in the Sydney Head Office. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented and eager to deliver on HR services, projects and initiatives.

Tasks include (but not limited to):

  • Assisting the HR team across a range of key business needs
  • Managing the recruitment, on-boarding and induction process for new hires
  • Supporting the administration of internal L&D programs as required
  • Creating, modifying and adding value and insight to essential business documents
  • Maintaining quality data integrity with our databases, and adapt quickly to new systems
  • Coordinating the separation of exiting staff
  • Work Health Safety Requirements (training provided)

Salary and Conditions

Standard work hours are 37.5 hrs week. Desired hours are between 7:30am to 4:00pm but we can be flexible for the right person. We offer a competitive salary package and an excellent work environment.

About the role

The Recruitment Coordinator will provide generalist support to the National HR Manager in both a HR and recruitment capacity. The recruitment coordinator will be responsible for end to end recruitment ensuring the right candidates are appointed at the right time to meet the needs of the business. Additionally, you will assist the National HR Manager to facilitate inhouse training systems to support the onboarding of new employees and the ongoing development of existing staff.

This multifaceted role will allow you to build on your foundation experience in recruitment and HR whilst undertaking the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the coordination and development of an e-learning platform for new starters
  • End to end recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing and offer of new employees and coordination of candidate trials
  • Partner with hiring managers to build a strong understanding of their recruitment needs and plan recruitment processes accordingly
  • Create interview question templates in line with hiring managers needs
  • Assist the National HR manager when required with the preparation and distribution of employment contracts and new employee starter packs as per set procedures.
  • Upload new employees into the company CRM system and assist in the upkeep of data
  • Drive the onboarding process including the coordination of new starter hardware and software, introduction to company policy, introduction to key stakeholders and company processes.
  • Assist the business with a variety of administration duties in the event of a catastrophe event
  • Other duties as directed by the National HR Manager.

  • Prior experience in an end to end recruitment position essential
  • Previous HR experience highly desirable
  • Experience in the management and administration of e-learning system highly regarded
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Confident and a natural communicator with the ability to deal at all levels within the organisation
  • intermediate to advanced Microsoft office skills
  • ability to multi-task and oversee concurrent recruitment projects
